As well as being the new Masters champion, Jon Rahm is also a whole lot better off financially after his thrilling victory at Augusta National. 

The 28-year-old held off Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson to become the fourth Spaniard to win the Green Jacket, following Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia. 

In doing so, he pocketed a cheque for over $3million. 

Koepka and Mickelson also drove back down Magnolia Lane with seven-figure sums after Augusta National Golf Club put up a major record $18million in prize money.
