The Open 2023: Round 1 tee times in full

Rory McIlroy will have Jon Rahm and Justin Rose for company as he bids to end his major drought in this week’s Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.

The four-time major champ, who won The Open the last time it visited Hoylake, will be joined by reigning Masters champion Rahm and 2016 Olympic gold medallist Rose in the group that tees off at 2.59pm on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, Jordan Spieth – the 2017 Open champion – will start his tilt at a second Claret Jug at 9.03am in the company of Jason Day and Matt Fitzpatrick.
