Matt Fitzpatrick is one of the best golfers in the world – but what brand of clothing does he wear?

The 2022 US Open champion appears to have made a switch to his clothing brand this year, wearing Greyson shirts at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The Englishman was contracted to Castore, a British brand, however he hasn’t started 2023 wearing their shirts. 

Instead, Fitzpatrick was wearing Greyson. Currently, the 28-year-old isn’t contracted to the brand. Greyson currently kit out several PGA Tour stars, including Justin Thomas, Harry Higgs and European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald.

Greyson was founded by Charlie Schaefer, who is the current CEO of the company. They say that the have the principles of the wolf at the helm, hence the brand’s distinctive logo.

In 2022, Fitzpatrick was signed to Castore on a multi-year apparel deal.

Founded by English brothers Philip and Thomas Beahon, who had played professional cricket and football respectively, Castore is a relatively unknown brand in the world of golf, although it does supply clothing to some other stars such as South Africa’s Dean Burmester.

The Beahon brothers gave up their sport careers to work in finance in order to fund their venture, which was launched in 2015.

Castore announced their first major contract four years later when tennis legend Andy Murray was added to the lineup.

In 2020, the brothers made their first moves into football when they became the kit supplier to Scottish side Rangers. Since then, Castore has signed high-profile deals with top clubs such as Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa. It has also signed contracts with clubs in Europe such as Feyenoord and Bayer Leverkusen.

The brand supplies the international cricket teams of England, South Africa and the West Indies and is also prominent in cycling and rugby.
