Royal Ascot links up with Fairmont to deliver luxury packages

Royal Ascot Golf Club has teed up a partnership with Fairmont Windsor Park to offer golfers a luxury stay-and-play getaway.

Located in the Berkshire countryside, the major UK golf club has become the third to pair with the exclusive hotel chain in recent months.

The ‘Royal Golf Getaway experience’ provides guests with the chance to play a round on the prestigious course and enjoy a stay in the deluxe surroundings.

Residents who stay in one of Fairmont’s lavish rooms will also be afforded breakfast at the Moreish restaurant and private transport to and from the course.

Stephen Nicholson, General Manager of the historic golf club, commented on the delight of the offer while looking ahead to the future.

Royal Ascot Golf Club, founded in 1887, was granted Royal status by Queen Victoria and is the second oldest golf club in the southeastern county.

The John Henry Taylor design is a par-70 championship course that is steeped in history. It offers a fair test, with tree-lined fairways and meticulous greens.

The golf course moved away from the world-famous racecourse in 2006 and now sits adjacent to it in 150 acres of wooded crownland.
