Perhaps the most recognisable and influential club design in golfing history. In 1966 Kartsen Solheim drew up the original designs for the Anser, which would go onto become the blueprint for most modern putter design and dominate the putter market for decades. The design placed weight in the heel and toe for balance, while its offset hosel offered a clean view of the face at address. The Anser endures to this day and accounts for more professional wins than any other style of putter.
