KBS now have every part of the bag covered after introducing their first ever graphite putter shaft.

The KBS Graphite Putter Shaft (GPS) is the sixth graphite shaft option from the brand, making graphite an option throughout the whole bag. The new offering weighs 120 grams and goes up to a 38-inch option.

It’s available in eight striking colours through the KBS Custom Plus + department, allowing golfers to pair up the most used club in the bag with their favourite shade.

“We’ve been working on the GPS for a while following the success of the One Step putter shaft launched two years ago. The GPS is stiff without adding increased weight as graphite putter shafts can help the face from turning when a putt is struck toward the heel or toe. That will increase any putter’s moment of inertia (MOI) making putting more controlled on mishits,” said director of R&D and master shaft-maker Kim Braly.

The new KBS GPS is designed as a low torque performance shaft. This essentially minimises the flex and bend in the shaft commonly found in traditional steel putter shafts on longer putts. Along with better distance control and consistency the KBS GPS also incorporates a premium crafted composite material and fibre to ensure stability, durability, and accuracy that produces superior feel.

So, you can expect more stability, accuracy and consistency on your putts, which will lead you to get the ball on line and, hopefully, holing more putts.
