PXG has unveiled the PXG 0317 T irons, aimed at elite players who demand precision and excellence.

At the core of these irons is PXG’s proprietary hollow-body, injection-moulded technology, now tailored specifically for elite players. What sets them apart is the ground breaking S COR polymer core, a fusion of tour blade playability with advanced technology to enhance performance.

Making these irons begins with a three-fold forging process using 8620 soft carbon steel, resulting in a tight crystalline grain structure that delivers a pure feel at impact.

The external body then undergoes precision CNC milling, ensuring every surface meets exact specifications, followed by robotic polishing for a flawless finish.

PXG founder and CEO Bob Parsons said: “These clubs are designed with precision, from materials to processes, ensuring consistent club-to-club performance for elite players.”

PXG’s research into golf club geometry and polymer materials culminated in the S COR polymer core. It significantly impacts launch conditions, enhancing accuracy by minimising face movement during impact. This resulted in unprecedented control over ball trajectory and spin rate.

A strategically placed internal tungsten weight enhances moment-of-inertia (MOI) and optimises the centre of gravity, ensuring consistent performance when hitting the sweet spot.

Precision-milled grooves, engineered to USGA limits, maximise performance in any conditions.

The PXG 0317 T irons also feature PXG’s Precision Weighting Technology, allowing for swing weight and head weight customisation via an adjustable tungsten weight. This precision is dialled in during a custom club build process.

LPGA Tour professional Ellinor Sudow, said: “You can do pretty much anything you want with these clubs – you’re in charge. You control the spin, the flight, and the shape of how your ball is moving.”

Ideal for elite golfers seeking a game-changing advantage, these irons look to be a great addition from PXG.
