Sun Mountain have always made superb premium golf bags and their latest release is no different.

The Sonnenalp line is a classic example of Sun Mountain’s quality, and they have just added a new bag to that range.

The new Mid-Stripe stand bag offers an old school look with a modern-day twist.

It is one of three bags being introduced under the Sonnenalp brand over the next few months, with the two new Dundee and Baron styles arriving in early 2023.

The Mid-Stripe bag is very light, weighing 2.6kg. It features an integrated hand-stitched leather lift-assist handle; a 4-way divider; seven spacious pockets, plus fine detail such as a leather buckle to secure the umbrella and tee holders to the side of the bag for easy access.

The dual lite bag strap offers a well-balanced and comfortable carry, whilst a colour coordinated single strap is available as an optional accessory for avid walking golfers seeking a distinctive old-school look when carrying.

It also has a chrome plate which can be found on the side of the bag and can be removed for cresting and penalisation, delivering a bespoke touch.

The Sonnenalp collection, places a premium on high-quality craftsmanship and takes inspiration from the brand’s popular vinyl Metro bag line introduced a few years ago.

“We’ve seen a trend of golfers leaning towards more classically styled designs that don’t compromise on sought-after modern design features,” said Nigel Freemantle, Managing Director of Brand Fusion International, distributors of Sun Mountain products across Europe.

“This helped form the basis of the new Sonnenlap collection, spearheaded by the Mid-Stripe that moves the needle in a more classic approach to golf bag design,” he added.

Sun Mountain Mid-Stripe offers seven colour combinations with each bag coming with a complimentary box of twenty-five matching wooden tees. A range of matching accessories will also be arriving in the new year for those looking to sport a stylish look both on and off the course.

RRP £329
