Titleist reveals limited release Scotty Cameron Concept X putter

Combining a classic Scotty Cameron shape with a limited-edition design. Introducing the Scotty Cameron Concept X 7.2.

A shape that is popular amongst some of the best players in the world, the Scotty Cameron Phantom range is gamed by the likes of Max Homa and Patrick Cantlay. Now, it’s available in a limited-edition tour black finish, with a cherry dot sight line, to create a high performing, stunning looking putter.

This putter comes with a tour-inspired plumbing neck, which along with the head shape, is designed to give players the attributes of a larger putter head, as well as the arcing feel of a blade putter.

Scotty Cameron, the man behind the design, said:

“The Concept X 7.2 LTD was inspired by the Phantom X 7.2, a tour only prototype we designed for professionals who want the best of both worlds – a putter that swings like a blade with the alignment benefit that comes from a plumbing neck, all with the stability of a mallet.”

“Every one of these putters is hand-painted, hand-finished and assembled by hand. It is a true modern mallet built for golfers who want blade-like toe flow in a larger, more stable body.”

Davis Riley, who won his first PGA Tour title this year at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, has gamed a Scotty Cameron Phantom 7.2 since early 2022.

Speaking on the latest release from Scotty Cameron, he said:

“It’s awesome. The way it looks, all the square lines, I feel like it frames the ball really well and everything sits super square.

“I’ve always been a big believer in that putting, if you’re really comfortable looking over and everything feels square, it’s just going to set up for good putting.”

The putter features Scotty Cameron’s dual milled face technology, while it features a plumbing neck that has been re-designed to complement this high MOI mallet shape.

The head integrates precision milled 303 stainless steel with lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminium, incorporating Scotty Cameron’s preferred methodology of using complementary materials for the best performance.

The Concept X 7.2 will be available to right-handed golfers in 33″, 34″ and 35″ with a left-handed version available at 34″, but only a limited number in all sizes.
