The DP World Tour’s South African swing continues this week, with the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Leopard Creek is the stunning venue on the DP World Tour this week for the Alfred Dunhill Championship, which is back after its last playing in 2020.

It’s one of the favourites of the pros, and for that reason attracts some star names including Ernie Els, Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen. They’ll be joined by plenty of local players, as well as recent winner on tour Dan Bradbury.

The event was first played at Leopard Creek in 2005, and it’s part of the Sunshine Tour’s schedule. Before 2005, it had a short stint at Houghton Golf Club.

As you’ll see, it’s sponsored by the same company that sponsor the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship which takes place on Scotland’s east coast, a big contrast to this week’s venue.

In 2020, Christian Bezuidenhout was the winner, and he’s back this year to defend his title as the tournament favourite.

Here’s all the details you need to know…

Charl Schwartzel 18/1

The former Masters champion has previously won here four times. Although those were at the peak of his powers, he’s clearly a Leopard Creek fan and finished in the top-ten last week.
