The 23-year-old is something of a phenomenon. From 117 recorded drives in the 2018 Web.com Tour season, he averaged an incredible 343.1 yards off the tee – ten yards ahead of his nearest competitor in that department. But while he was first in distance, he was 48th in accuracy, meaning he would probably be best making a Ryder Cup debut on US soil after the team’s troubles in Paris. It seems, though, that the ability in the rest of his game, too. In six straight events from May to July last season, his worst finish was T11 and the run ended with his sole victory of the season at the Utah Championship.
