Four PGA Tour stars will tee it up alongside Formula 1 drivers in Netflix’s inaugural live golf tournament.
The streaming platform has launched its first ever live sports broadcast, capitalising on the success of hit shows ‘Full Swing’ and ‘Drive to Survive’ with the invention of the ‘Netflix Cup.’
And the tournament, which is being promoted as a “clash of wheels and irons”, will be held at Wynn Golf Club on the Las Vegas Strip on November 14 ahead of the first Las Vegas Grand Prix.

“We love to see how our sports series have brought increased fandom to sports leagues and competitions all over the world,” said Gabe Spitzer the Vice President of Nonfiction Sports, Netflix.
“The Netflix Cup will take that energy to the next level with global stars from two popular hits competing in our first-ever live sports event.”

Who is playing in the Netflix Cup?
The four professional golfers taking part in the Netflix Cup all played in the losing US Ryder Cup team in Rome. Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Max Homa and Collin Morikawa will all compete in the match.
Meanwhile, the Formula 1 stars are Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris, Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon.
How does it work?
Each Formula 1 driver will be paired up alongside a PGA Tour pro. The four teams will then battle it out in a live eight hole match, with the top two teams advancing to the final hole, where the winner of the inaugural Netflix Cup will be determined.

The inaugural Netflix Cup will be broadcast live on Netflix from 11pm BST (UK time), 6pm ET, and 3pm local time.
