Shane Lowry is back on the DP World Tour this week, heading the field in the Porsche Singapore Classic.
The Irishman will compete in Singapore for the first time in 12 years in the opening event of the Asian Swing on the European circuit.
This event returned to the calendar after a nine-year hiatus in 2023 at Laguna National, which is regarded as one of the toughest courses on the continent.
South Africa’s Ockie Strydom edged out Sami Valimaki in an exciting finish last season, but faces strong competition to defend his crown in Singapore.

Lowry is joined in the field by Frenchman Matthieu Pavon, who returns to his former domain having already notched an impressive PGA Tour victory this season at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Another notable name in the field this week is Paul Casey, who will making his first start on the DP World Tour in over two years.
The Englishman, who has been competing on the LIV Golf circuit, has been offered a sponsor’s invite for the event and will make his first DP World Tour appearance since finishing T12 at the 2022 Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Here’s who the bookies fancy to shine this week…
Shane Lowry 9/1
Paul Casey 14/1
Matthieu Pavon 14/1

Tom McKibbin 20/1
The bunkered bet
Paul Casey 14/1
Casey has been one of the best performing players on the LIV circuit this season and lost out in a play-off in his last start in Hong Kong. He’ll fancy his chances of marking his return with victory against a field that isn’t exactly stacked. LIV players dominated the smaller DP World Tour events during the offseason and it would be no surprise to see the Englishman add to the win of LIV victors on the European circuit.
