Sotogrande unveils new ‘world-class’ stay and play packages

One of Spain’s most famous golf resorts has launched a set of new stay and play packages that feature some of Europe’s best courses.

Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel has designed the packages to offer guests an incredible golf experience at some of Spain and Europe’s best courses.

The headline act is the Sotogrande Golf Tour Classic package, where guests will play at Real Club Valderrama, Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and La Reserva Club.

The former Ryder Cup, DP World Tour and Ladies European Tour host venues, form part of a five-night trip that starts from €1,774.

While enjoying winter sun in the Mediterranean, the package will give golfers tee times at some of the continent’s most revered destinations.

Meanwhile, the new Golf Escape package offers guests the chance to enjoy rounds of golf at the on-site Almenara Golf and nearby La Reserva Club.

The Golf Escape deal offers three, five and seven-night stays, which come with two, three and five rounds of golf included.

After choosing the length of stay, guests will have the option to choose the birdie, eagle or albatross package.

The birdie package, from €539, comes in a three, five or seven-night package which allows golfers to play at Almenara Golf or La Reserva Club.

From €969, the five or seven-night eagle package allows golfers to play at four different courses located in a radius of approximately 11 kms, including Almenara Golf and La Reserva Club.

Finally, the seven-night albatross package allows golfers to play four rounds at Almenara Golf, La Reserva Club, and some of the most attractive golf courses located within 23kms from the five-star resort. The package starts at €1,384.

All Golf Escape packages include accommodation at the five-star luxury wellness retreat, SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort.

Recently named ‘Best Luxury Lifestyle Resort in Europe’ at the 2023 World Luxury Hotel Awards, all packages are based on a stay in a SO/ Comfy Room.

Those also include daily breakfast served at SoCiety restaurant, access to Spa & Wellness Club hydrothermal circuit and indoor pool, and access to 24/7 gym with daily complimentary group classes.

Package guests will also benefit from one Cryotherapy session per person, 10% discount in the Almenara Golf pro shop, 20% off rack rates at partner golf clubs, and 25% off additional nights at SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort.
