Europe defeated Team USA at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome in 2023 – but where will the Ryder Cup be played when it next returns to European soil in 2027?
The Ryder Cup will return to Ireland for the first time since Europe’s dominant victory over the Americans at The K Club in County Kildare back in 2006.
Adare Manor in County Limerick will host the biennial battle for the first time in 2027.
The luxury Limerick venue was officially confirmed for the clash back in 2019 after the success of The Open at Royal Portrush.

Adare Manor was initially announced as the 2026 venue, before the 2020 contest at Whistling Straits was delayed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
That means the Adare Manor match has been pushed forward a year until 2027.
The Championship course on the opulent manor house resort was designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1995.
It was redesigned by Tom Fazio over a 24-month period after it was bought by Irish businessman J.P. McManus and is one of only three courses in the UK with a SubAir Aeration System under all of its greens.
The fairways are lined with the trees and the testing parkland venue has received huge praise from many golfing stars, including Rory McIlroy.

“The golf course is absolutely incredible,” McIlroy said. “To have a course presented like this is phenomenal. It’s parkland perfection.”
Adare Manor has been a European Tour venue in the past, hosting the 2007 and 2008 Irish Open, as well as hosting some of the game’s top players at the J.P. McManus Pro-am in 2005, 2010 and 2022.
The venue reopened in 2017 and is now viewed as one of the finest courses in all of Ireland, and ready to host golf’s most important team event.
Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup in the contest’s centenary year, with the Irish crowd set to mark 100 years of the famous competition.
