Who is Billy Horschel’s wife?

Golf fans might recognise a familiar face spotted with Billy Horschel on and off the course, and that is his wife.

The American, who turned professional in 2009, is a multiple PGA Tour and DP World Tour winner, and is a Presidents Cup winner.

But he isn’t the only one in the family who is into golf.

That’s because his wife Brittany Horschel, is a former player and can be seen competing each year alongside Billy.

Those who keep up to date with the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will likely have spotted Billy Horschel’s wife before.

In 2023, the pair became the first husband and wife to play together in the history of the DP World Tour.

Billy said: “It’s cool to have Brittany out here out here as my partner this week. Last year she caddied, and now this week with her playing I get to support her, too.

“She hasn’t done this in years, she’ll be looking at me to help calm her down, so I’ll have to help a little bit there, but we’re excited to play together.”

Brittany added: “We decided about six months ago, when Billy decided this fit into his schedule, that I would like to play.

“I caddied last year, but it’s my first time playing. It’s a bit new for me. After playing in college, I took about 10 to 15 years off, I didn’t even touch a club.”

Born in 1987, Brittany played for the women’s golf team while she attended the University of Florida. It was there, in 2004, that the pair met.

Billy was a junior golfer at the time and while his future wife wanted to pursue a career in the sport, it was called short by recurring injuries.

She needed three surgeries on her wrist, as the injury got worse over time.

It hasn’t stopped Brittant from playing completely, though, as she made a hole-in-one during the summer of 2023.

Billy posted a clip to his Instagram showing off his wife, which read: “Played a little golf today at Country Club of Fairfield and wifey (Brittany) decided to make an ace on the 9th hole. 4 hybrid from 190.

Six years later, the pair tied the knot in 2010 and have since had three children together. Skyler Lillian, Colbie Rae and Axel Brooks regularly make appearances on the couple’s social media.
