The PGA Tour’s first event in Mexico, the World Wide Technology Championship, is back but with a different look.
That’s because the event has moved home and will now be staged at El Cardonal. Previously, it was staged at El Camaleon in Mayakoba, but it was added to the LIV roster for 2023.
El Cardonal, the private golf club in Mexico, was the first golf course to be designed by 82-time PGA Tour winner Tiger Woods.
And with eyes on locking up next year’s status, players will be keen to get their hands on the 500 FedEx Cup points that are awarded to the winner.
The fifth of seven events in the FedEx Cup Fall Series, it’s all to play for here as the season-ending drama ramps up.

The bunkered bet
Beau Hossler 28/1
It would be no surprise to see Ludvig Aberg claim his first PGA Tour victory here. But another man in form, Beau Hossler will fancy his chances of securing his own maiden win on the American circuit in Mexico. Hossler has not finished outside the top 30 in his last five starts and he finished in a tie for second in his last outing at the ZOZO Championship. The 28-year-old looks good value this week.
