Justin Thomas bites to abusive Twitter troll

US Ryder Cup hopeful Justin Thomas responded emphatically to a persistent Twitter troll, who said he hoped the American completely lost his swing and ‘turned into David Duval’.

The 23-year-old, who is playing in this week’s Wells Fargo Championship, was abused on seven different occasions by the troll as he played in his first round – where he recorded a one-over-par 73 – with these the only three which didn’t have an expletive in it.
