Callaway’s new Razr Hawk driver hasn’t taken long since being introduced to start making it into the headlines.
Back-to-back wins by Alvaro Quiros and Thomas Bjorn during the European Tour’s early season ‘desert swing’ really got tongues wagging, as has the Spaniard’s 12-yard gain in average driving distance this year alone.
The secret of the Razr Hawk’s success is undoubtedly Forged Composite, which is lighter, stronger and more precise than titanium. It has been used in the sole and crown, allowing engineers to control their thickness for a light, stable clubhead.
In the words of Callaway’s senior vice president of R&D, Dr Alan Hocknell: “With new materials and advances in technology, we’ve been able to produce an uncompromised line that doesn’t sacrifice one performance characteristic for another. This is the complete package.”

• The streamlined surface contours reduce drag from the downswing by 43% compared to the FT-9, giving higher impact speeds.
• Features an Aldila RIP Graphite shaft with lower torque as standard to give better players the performance and feel they want from their shaft.
