Within a month, it soon became clear why he was wearing them. “I was waiting to find the perfect apparel partner that allowed me to move from the board room to the golf course,” said Mickelson in a press release announcing a new partnership with the brand behind the shirts, Mizzen + Main. As part of the deal, Phil was also rewarded with a stake in the company.
