For the first time since 1998, the US PGA Championship will head to the west coast of the United States. TPC Harding Park in San Francisco will stage the 102nd edition of the tournament for the first time in its history, although it has plenty of pedigree. It hosted the WGC-American Express Championship in 2015, the Presidents Cup in 2009 and, more recently, the 2015 WGC-Cadillac Match Play, won by Rory McIlroy. Brooks Koepka will look to become the first player in the strokeplay era of the championship to win the Wanmaker Trophy three years on the bounce. Walter Hagen won it four years in succession when it was still a matchplay competition.
