Sahith Theegala has become a fan favourite on the PGA Tour, so who is his girlfriend?

The California-born man burst onto the scene in 2022 after a couple of successful seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Theegala, who made his pro debut in 2020, recorded consecutive top-ten finishes in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals and, therefore, secured his PGA Tour card.

Almost immediately, he got his first top-ten at the Sanderson Farms Championship before finishing third at the WM Phoenix Open.

And after fighting his way into Tour Championship in his debut season, Theegala claimed his first PGA Tour title a year later at the Fortinet Championship.

Alongside him throughout the journey from promising college golfer to PGA Tour star was his girlfriend, Julianna “Juju” Chan.

Before making a name for himself on the top American circuit, Theegala attended Pepperdine University where he met his girlfriend.

The pair had sport in common, as Chan was part of the university swimming team, and are believed to have started dating in 2017.

As Theegala was improving at a rate of knots on the golf course, Chan was making headlines in the pool.

Her team set a new Pepperdine swim and dive record in the 200-medley relay at the Pacific Coast Swim and Dive Conference Championships in 2019.

Meanwhile, as the pair were studying at university, Theegala’s girlfriend worked as a lifeguard, a comms intern for athletics and a pool manager. In her senior year, Chan was also an assistant swimming coach.

According to Chan’s LinkedIn profile, she now works as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Trace.

Despite meeting in 2017, the couple didn’t go official on social media until six years later. They posted a pic together in 2023 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

That doesn’t mean they stay out of the public eye, though. The pair now regularly post snaps on Instagram, while Chan keeps followers updated on TikTok with tournament updates and day in the life content.

She also went viral on social media during the 2023 Open Championship, as Theegala warmed up on the range in tough weather conditions.

After staying to watch the full session in the rain, she posted on her Instagram story: “Someone should really check my credentials.”
