Devel Golf release inaugural product

Innovative new brand Devel Golf has announced the release of its inaugural product, the Devel Pitchfork.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Devel Pitchfork is a revolutionary new pitch mark repair tool comprising of a unique three-pronged design to ensure only damaged turf is repaired.

The company was started by Duncan Campbell who, along with his brother Neil, hope to offer a full product range encompassing the Devel brand, adhering to values that the pair believe in.

Speaking about the Devel Pitchfork, Duncan said: “The three-prong design corresponds to the shape of a pitch mark. The longer central prong penetrates to the base, while the two outer prongs repair the edges of the mark. The result is less damage to the soil surrounding the impact area.”

The product’s launch comes after hours of researching and developing the idea with nights spent reading research papers and studies into the repairing of pitch marks as Duncan was still in a regular job at the time.

His analysis concluded that three prongs was a better alternative to one or two and, as a result, he drafted in a product designer who helped design the Queen’s baton for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and work began on the Devel Pitchfork this time last year.

With the product almost ready for manufacturing, Devel Golf Ltd was formed in June 2015 and last month, the Pitchfork was officially launched to the masses.

For corporate and society orders (min. 50 units), the ball marker and packaging sleeve can be customized with a chosen logo or text.
