Stampyourballs makes it to European Tour

We’ve all been guilty of it. Rushing up to a ball you’ve assumed to be yours, hitting it down the fairway, only to realise it wasn’t yours.

The stamp is large enough to be clearly visible, without being overpowering. It’s also durable enough to withstand strike after strike. It is simple and effective to use and after many attempts to perfect the tool, design and ink, the MK V Stamper has been produced with over 50 designs.

It very rarely happens in the professional game, but playing the wrong ball does happen.

Hunter Mahan and Jamie Donaldson were assessed a two-shot penalty each at the 2014 US Open for playing the wrong balls.

Both players were playing a Titleist Pro V1x and, after both found the fairway, once they’d played their shots into the green and marked their balls, they realised they’d hit the wrong balls. Both players took a penalty drop and made double-bogeys and, had they went to the next hole, would have been disqualified.
