Still only 24, Lexi Thompson comes into this year’s Solheim Cup as the highest-ranked player on the women’s world rankings on either side, currently in third spot, so a lot is expected of the American superstar. But she’s used to that. She has been in the spotlight ever since she featured in the US Women’s Open at the age of 12. Thompson also has an impressive Solheim Cup record, having never lost a singles or foursomes match.
