The multiple DP World Tour winner secured a PGA Tour card for 2024, so who is Adrian Meronk’s caddie?

Meronk felt he was hard done by to miss out on a place in the 2023 European Ryder Cup team, given he enjoyed a highly successful season on tour.

The Polish star even cracked the top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), as he established himself as one of the best players in Europe.

Adrian Meronk’s caddie

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Meronk played on the Challenge Tour in 2017 and was runner-up in the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge, losing in a play-off.

It was during that season that he formed a connection with Stuart Beck, the man who would soon become Meronk’s caddie.

In truth, Meronk’s career has reached new heights since turning to the services of Beck, who has been on the Pole’s bag for a while.

The Scot, from Eskbank in Dalkeith, began his caddying career on the Ladies European Tour.

As a member of Gullane, Beck noticed the club was looking for caddies during the 2018 Ladies’ Scottish Open, so took some time off to caddie for Anne van Dam.

She finished T15 that week, which gave Beck the ‘bug for it’, and after making a few enquiries, started at the bottom of the LET for two years.

Working his way up the ladder, Beck moved on to the Challenge Tour and worked with Italian Lorenzo Scalise for just over a season.

He then took up Aaron Cockerill’s bag for just over a year. When that pair finished up, Meronk was looking for a caddie and so they joined forces.

Meronk earned his first DP World Tour win at the Horizon Irish Open in 2022 before claiming the Australian Open later that year.

All of Meronk’s wins have come with Beck on the bag, who worked in finance for an Edinburgh broker after leaving school.
