The Cobra Aerojet irons are irons that will appeal to someone looking for a large head shape. These are made with forgiveness in mind, and will help high handicap players who struggle with their strike on approach shots.

These irons are packed with technology. The AI-designed H.O.T face has multiple forgiving spots across the face, all of which deliver consistent speed and distance, especially on mishits, anywhere on the face. The Mizuno JPX 923 irons are part of the Hot Metal range. These are a more compact looking iron, that almost look like a player’s iron. These have a thinner cup face, which helps to deliver a deep centre of gravity, which is essential for a high launch and a forgiving club face. However, these also come in a more compact shape, which makes them appealing for mid handicappers who want that extra bit of forgiveness.

The Mizuno JPX 923 irons are a great blend of control and forgiveness. Also, they’re some of the best looking game improvement irons on the market.

Ping G430

The Ping G430 irons feature strong lofts, which will help you to hit the ball a long way. They have a thin club face, which will help with speed at impact. Ping say these are their longest irons to date, so if you want distance, these are for you.

These are designed with a very low centre of gravity, which will help with getting the ball in the air. As you can see, the PurFlex badge on the back of the club helps to support the ultra thin club face when you make contact with the ball, to get your shots straight, but also fast. This badge also allows for seven flex zones on the face, meaning mishits will still perform well.

These clubs are great for a player who wants an iron that will go a long way. As well as that, they aren’t a large head compared to some game improvement irons, so they look great behind the ball.

These are PXG’s most forgiving iron to date, but they also deliver a very soft feel, combined with striking looks. PXG has designed these with a large blade length, which along with high offset will make these super forgiving.
