1992 – Earned European Tour card

After a significant victory in the 1990 Scottish Assistants Championship at Cruden Bay, Lawrie earned his European Tour card two years later. He played in 26 events in his debut season, with runner-up finishes at the Carroll’s Irish Open and Volvo Open Di Firenze.
