Tiger Woods holds the record for most weeks spent at the top of the rankings. He has amassed a total of 683 as world No.1 – just over 13 years! That includes a record stint of 281 consecutive weeks at the top, from June 12, 2005, to October 20, 2010. Greg Norman is Woods’ closest challenger, with a total of 331 weeks at the top of the standings. All other players have a combined total of 656 weeks as No.1. That’s right – less than Woods.
