Cape Kidnappers

Perhaps not an immediately obvious choice, Cape Kidnappers is a fantastic golf course with which enjoys a simply spectacular setting. Situated in Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, it was designed by the acclaimed Tom Doak and features fairways playing along narrow fingers of land that plunge 500 feet to the rocks and sea below. It is reckoned that mishit balls can take as long as ten seconds to hit the water. It’s just stunning.
