5 steps to learning from the best in the business

Bubba Mindset

Step 1 Using Bubba Watson’s mindset to love the game

Bubba Watson learned the game of golf by entertaining himself. As he grew up, Watson hit ping pong balls around couches and lamps in the living room. Once outside, Watson shaped shots under limbs, branches and around the trunks of trees. He boomed shots over water and blasted shots for hours from the sand.

Watson hit shots with nothing but his enjoyment at stake. For the two-time Masters winner, golf was supposed to be fun and, for that reason, he never took a lesson. Now, it would be wise for the beginner to learn the proper fundamentals from a PGA professional but yet, always keep in mind, the need to pursue the pure joy of playing golf and using your clubs.
