Hollow-body irons are perfect for speed, distance and forgiveness, and with Callaway’s new Ai Smart Face you’ll get the consistency you are looking for in the Paradym Ai Smoke range. 

Just like the rest of the Ai Smoke range, we see the Ai Smart Face used in these irons. This will help deliver optimal launch, consistency, and distance not just on off-centre strikes but on the full mishits as well. 

The Ai Smoke has stronger lofts with a hollow body construction for extra speed, distance, and consistency. So, you’ll still get a high launch but a lower spin for more distance. You have a pre-worn leading edge which helps glide through the turf. What you also have is quarter-inch longer length in the longer irons which will give you that extra club speed and distance whilst keeping dispersion tight. 

It’s a brilliant club for mid-to-high handicappers looking for an iron that is a brilliant all-rounder that is fun and easy to it.

If you’re new to golf or you’re a higher handicapper looking for a better ball flight and a set of irons that are more forgiving and more consistent, then Cleveland Zipcore XL irons could be for you. 

The two new key features in ZipCore XL irons are the ZipCore and HydraZip technologies. The ZipCore moves the centre of gravity to where you are most likely to strike your shots, giving you more consistency in launch, spin, and distance. HydraZip is a dynamic face blast that varies through the set ensuring long irons are maximised for distance and consistency, while shorter irons boost spin and control.

Game improvement irons are big business for equipment brands and the Cobra Darkspeed range is a solid option if you want help with distance and forgiveness. 

The new Darkspeed irons feature optimised performance through the set, a progressive TECFLO construction that transitions from a full hollow design with PWR-BRIDGE and PWRSHELL in the 4-7 irons, to a full hollow body with no face insert in the 8-PW, to a half hollow design in the GW-SW. 

The PWR-BRIDGE weighting and PWRSHELL H.O.T Face insert working together to deliver fast ball speeds, great distnace and forgiveness for tighter dispersion.  The L-Cup face is designed using A.I for a faster and more efficient clubface with the H.O.T Face insert delivering a variable face thickness, delivering more forgiveness. 

They, look, feel and sound brilliant and If you’re a high handicapper looking for clubs that will go miles but still have stopping power, these are a great option.

The Ping G430 irons feature strong lofts, which will help you to hit the ball a long way. They have a thin club face, which will help with speed at impact. Ping say these are their longest irons to date, so if you want distance, these are for you. 

These are designed with a very low centre of gravity, which will help with getting the ball in the air. As you can see, the PurFlex badge on the back of the club helps to support the ultra thin club face when you make contact with the ball, to get your shots straight, but also fast. This badge also allows for seven flex zones on the face, meaning mishits will still perform well. You also have toe weight as well which contributes to more stability especially on those mishits.

These clubs are great for a player who wants an iron that will go a long way. As well as that, they aren’t a large head compared to some game improvement irons, so they look great behind the ball.

The PXG 0311 XP GEN6 irons have a thinner face than previous models and XCOR2 technology that helps improve mishits and increase ball speed. These are PXG’s longest and most forgiving irons to date delivering an incredibly soft feel and fantastic distance with excellent forgiveness. 

The PXG irons are great for the player who wants a unique looking club, that can be tailor made to fit their needs. This is a premium iron that will give great forgiveness, in PXG’s longest and most user-friendly iron ever. 

These irons have a thin club face, which along with the XCOR2 technology, which is designed to give fast ball speeds and improve distances on mishits. Also, PXG are keen for players to get custom fit, as they can adjust these to a player’s needs. 

These irons are great because of the adjustability featured inside them. You can fine tune the swing weights on the back of the iron to suit whatever feel you like in your clubs.

These irons are aimed at players who want forgiveness, but anyone would love the look of these. Golfers who want game improvement characteristics, but with a shape that looks like a tour model of clubs will love the Srixon ZX4 MKII range. 

The hollow body design will deliver faster ball speeds, more forgiveness, while allowing the clubs to have a narrow topline at address. The mainframe face maximises flex at impact for fast ball speeds. Also, these clubs feature a longer blade length, which inspires confidence. Higher offset at address also contributes to a confidence inspiring shape of club. 

These are a great looking set of irons from Srixon, but they also perform very well. These are perfect a player looking for a more compact, but still a forgiving iron.

Game-improvement irons have really come on in the past few years – and these might be the best ever. The Qi irons are packed with technology with each iron individually designed.
 
Each Qi iron features the brand’s flighted centre of gravity technology – or ‘FLTD CG’ – to help eliminate the dreaded miss right and, more importantly, keep each shot straighter and longer. Collectively, the new technologies work in harmony to influence ball speeds, launch angles, and spin rates. The cap-back design and TaylorMade’s Speed Pocket technology ensures consistency throughout the bag, including in gapping. 

The 4-and 5-irons feature a lower-profile backbar design for a low CG that helps get the ball off the ground,  while the shorter irons have a heel-toe weighting for higher inertia, more forgiveness, and better control with the scoring clubs.
 
The cap-back design toe wrap allows for mass to be strategically placed to deliver clean lines and a satisfying sound and feel, much like the P770 or P790. Internally, the Hybrar Echo Damper reduce unwanted vibrations. The face also features a heat-map design, allowing it to flex on mishit shots which in turns makes it more stable and consistent on those off-centre strikes. 

A really impressive iron design from TaylorMade that will get you hitting the ball straighter and further. A golfer's dream.

The Titleist T350 irons are designed for high handicappers who want the feel of a forged iron and the performance of a game improvement iron. 

This offering from Titleist has an all-new hollow body construction, powered by max impact technology. This delivers forgiveness across the whole club face, while maximising launch, giving you great distance and a premium feel with its forged face. Titleist worked with the Vokey design team to get a perfect pre-worn leading edge, for better turf interaction on approach shots. 

These clubs are ideal for a player who will catch shots heavy, as the leading edge is designed to glide through the turf with ease. Also, they can be paired with other Titleist models to create a combo set, depending on your needs.

Wilson Dynapower irons feature a variable face for faster ball speeds, especially from centre to toe, so they’re ideal if that’s where you tend to strike the ball from. The high MOI head design produces stability, with a low CG for a higher launch. The player-preferred shape has a pleasing topline, inspiring confidence at address.
 
The Wilson Dynapower range will be great for a player who more often than not, finds themselves hitting their shots from the toe of the club. If you are someone who gets a lot of toe strikes with irons, these are ideal for you. 

These are great at controlling mishits because they have variable face technology. The high MOI design produces stable strikes on off-centre hits, particularly from the toe of the club. Also, the low centre of gravity will help shots that are thin to get in the air. Along with the technology in the club, they have a confidence inspiring topline, which is great behind the ball. 

These irons are ideal for maintaining speed and consistency, even on poorly struck shots. These will get you closer to the hole more often than not.
